Two students in Tombras School of Advertising and Public Relations had the chance to attend the annual Public Relations Student Society of America Leadership Assembly. Bella Sucheski and Drue Hamlet, both junior public relations majors, attended the assembly in Seattle, W.A. as official representatives of their chapter. Bella Sucheski serves as the current PR director and Drue Hamlet serves as the current vice president of PRSSA.
The two had the opportunity to network with peers across the country and beyond. Speakers from companies such as Microsoft, the Grossman Group, M Booth, etc, were present to share their expertise to students.
“Meeting other PRSSA members who are as passionate about this organization as I am was extremely inspiring and motivating. My favorite part of the weekend was connecting with other student leaders from around the country and comparing ideas for our chapters,” said Bella Sucheski.
Drue Hamlet had the pleasure in serving as the chapter delegate of UT’s PRSSA chapter. This gave her the unique opportunity to vote in the 2024-2025 National Committee Elections.
“Being able to vote in the National Committee Election is something I will never forget. Having a voice in this organization is something I am so proud to share. I am excited to bring back the things I learned to our chapter at UT. Thank you to the Tombras School of Advertising and Public Relations for making this trip possible!” said Drue Hamlet.
