On Sept. 10, the PRSA Volunteer Chapter had the opportunity to see firsthand the Cirrus Vision Center and hear from global public relations and communications manager, Nadia Haidar, as she shared her own personal journey and the success of Cirrus.

Haidar, originally from California, started her career in the agency sector, focusing on technology and telecommunication public relations. With many students in attendance Haidar emphasized how important her time in an agency was as she “really learned a lot in a little time”, gaining skills that she uses every day.

Haidar has now been with Cirrus since 2021, heading all global communications for the company.

Cirrus, a leading company in personal aviation, has been the best-selling single-engine piston aircraft manufacturer for the past 23 years. The Vision Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, is the company’s global customer experience center for sales, new aircraft delivery, flight training, maintenance and more.

In 2016, when the Vision Center was founded in Knoxville, there were only eight team members. Now, in 2025, Cirrus employs more than 300 people across a campus of eight buildings.

One of Haidar’s most memorable moments at Cirrus was the launch of the SR Series G7+ with the ‘Safe Return Emergency Autoland’. This was the first time such technology had been introduced in a single-engine piston aircraft. During the launch, Haidar orchestrated a nationwide media tour, drawing coverage from top-tier outlets and significantly boosting awareness of the groundbreaking innovation.

Not only does the Knoxville Vision Center deliver both Cirrus aircrafts, the SR Series (valued at $1.3 million) and the Vision Jet (valued at $3.4 million), but it’s also home to Cirrus’ flight training simulator center, where both apprentice and seasoned pilots are trained using state-of-the-art simulators by licensed Cirrus instructors.

PRSA members got the opportunity to see both the SR Series and Vision Jets up close, as well as touring Cirrus’ simulator center and flight training offices.

Haidar’s public relations goal for Cirrus is to “invite more people to experience personal aviation”. A mission clearly reflected in both the company’s cutting-edge technology and its commitment to accessibility, training, and customer experience. The visit left members inspired by Cirrus’ vision for the future of flight and the role communication plays in bringing that vision to life.
